Call it the third double shot of coffee if you will, but we are in a stirrrrr* of excitement at the prospect of next week’s descendence.

The kids from Five Senses roasters along with a tribe of Australia’s best baristas are coming to Bali for their annual origin trip. They will be up in the Kintamani mountains: meeting with our coffee farmers, checking the produce, helping out building a new nursery by the Git Git waterfall and doing other awesome things… and then they will be heading down to the big top.

On Sunday 17th June we will be holding our second barista jam. The delightful Jen will be taking us through a cupping session where we will get to try coffee from all corners of the globe. Think wine tasting but less grapes more beans.

There will also be a latte art competition where the visiting Australian baristas will milk off against our homegrown coffee ninjas for the crown of ‘latte art champion 2012’. Last time Captain won it. This time all bets are off.
